Watch the mural being painted in 91 seconds!

Artist Frank Creber and his partner Margy were on site for three weeks, transforming a rather sad wall into the vibrant Whitechapel Stories mural. Magically, we’ve condensed three weeks’ work into 91 seconds: click on this time-lapse video and you’ll see Frank and Margy whizzing up and down the scaffolding, sketching the design on the undercoated walls, and then working up the detailed elements in a rainbow of colours. The wall faces due south, so their mornings were in sunshine and the shadows come across in the afternoons. Expand it to full-screen to get the impact.
