Inter-generational working: we’ve won an award

We were really chuffed to receive an award at the recent InCommon Age-Friendly Awards ceremony. It's a lovely recognition of the contribution to developing our mural made by children from St Mary & St Michael RC School together with older people from Sonali Gardens. Congratulations to all of the other category winners too; it was inspiring to hear about your fascinating projects bringing generations together. And as an added bonus, we were hosted at the Appleby Blue almshouses in Bermondsey, a pioneering model for older people's social living.
